  Founder of Premier Cardiovascular Institute, Dr. Kamel Sadat is a graduate of Algiers University School of Medicine in Algiers, Algeria and completed a residency in internal medicine at Saint Joseph Hospital associated with the University of Illionis at Chicago.  He then worked for a year as Hospitalis at the Cleveland Clinic ashtabula 

  Founder of Premier Cardiovascular Institute, Dr. Kamel Sadat is a graduate of Algiers University School of Medicine in Algiers, Algeria and completed a residency in internal medicine at Saint Joseph Hospital associated with the University of Illionis at Chicago.  He then worked for a year as Hospitalis at the Cleveland Clinic ashtabula County Medical Center, he then underwent a  fellowship training in cardiac imaging at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and an advanced  heart failure and transplant cardiology training at the Houston Methodist hospital in assoication with the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston;

Following a fellowship in general cardiology at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, he joined a private cardiology group in chicago for four years then he decided that something was missing in his training so he joined the University of West Virginia at Morgantown for a one year fellowship in Interventional cardiology and structural heart disease then he joined a health system in west Indiana for two years as their lead interventional cardiologist, where he practiced prior to establishing Premier Cardiovascular Institute. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine General, Interventional, Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology and is a member of the American College of Cardiology . Dr. Sadat is trained in various aspects of nuclear cardiology and has completed training and received COCATS certification in the following: Echo (Level III), nuclear cardiology (Level II), cardiac CT (Level II), and is Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation. He has authored and co-authored a number of cardiology posters, books and publications and has served as a presenter at multiple cardiology events. A former competitive athlete in Judo in Algeria, Dr .Sadat now enjoys recreational sports, weightlifting, running and diving. His background in sports is what fuels his desire to ensure athletes of all abilities receive appropriate cardiovascular evaluation and the training guidance needed to enable them to compete safely and at their highest ability. Dr. Sadat is conversational and medically fluent in Berber, Arabic, French and Spanish.
